I believed that nursing is the right profession that would allow me to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. I knew that nursing would provide me with the opportunity to interact with people from different walks of life. Throughout my education, I have learned that nurses play a leading role in saving lives and restoring hopes to individuals and families who are in need. These purposeful insights have made me consider nursing because it is a meaningful career that would allow me to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are in need.

I have learned that nursing is a medical profession that has varied career pathways. It provides the practitioner to assist people from all walks of life, including the elderly, children, disabled and even mental health. As such, practitioner will provide me with the basic skills needed to attend to patients while continually progressing in my career.
When you are a nurse, one is always challenged with knowing current trends in medication; it is a way of providing better care to patients. As a nurse, I will be able to know new things, and this will enable me to go deeper into exploring the required knowledge and techniques required.

Several factors are motivating the increasing number of nurses such as the baby boomer ageing, and thus there is a high demand for healthcare professional. The schools which offer to nurse as a faculty is struggling so that it meets the required need.
